Eliminates Water & Particles

Water will always be present because of the heating and cooling of components in an engine. Water in lubricants can cause:

  • Shorter component life due to rust and corrosion
  • Water etching and erosion and vaporous cavitation
  • Hydrogen embrittlement
  • Excess wear due to loss of oil film

Using the Kleenoil® Filtration System will remove all water down to less than 0.05%.

Removes Dirt and Contaminants

Dirt, wear metals, and other contaminants are a reality of life in an internal combustion engine. Caused by the simple act of engine operation, these contaminants are the main reason to change fluids — in a perfect world, there would be no need to change fluids. Kleenoil® brings your equipment into a nearly perfect world.

While conventional fluid filtration components will filter out particles down to 25-40-micron in size, the Kleenoil® Filtration System will filter particles all the way down to approximately 1 micron in size. Accelerated wear and damage occurs somewhere around 3-6 micron, so installing the Kleenoil Filtration System reduces the rate of wear, meaning less engine failures, equipment rebuilds, and other expensive reactive maintenance issues.

Doesn’t Remove Desirable Elements

Simply removing all components down to a certain size isn’t enough. Some components are purposely added to lubrication oil to increase effectiveness. These additives include dispersants, detergents, oxidation and rust inhibitors, pour-point depressants, metal deactivators, and anti-foaming and gelling agents.

The Kleenoil® Filtration System can remove water, wear particles, dirt, and other contaminants without removing the additives desirable for extended use.

Extends Drain Intervals

The drain intervals indicated for your equipment assume that the above conditions are not met; the Kleenoil® Filtration System actually works with your oil, keeping it free of contaminants and water, and allowing the oil to maintain its additive package. While proper oil analysis will indicate the life of the oil, the average interval until a drain is required is extended up to ten times the interval required with conventional methods.

Reduces Time Needed for Service

The Kleenoil® Filtration Cartridge requires significantly less time to replace than the full fluid change required without the Kleenoil® Filtration System.

Simply remove the lid from the container, remove the old cartridge, install the new cartridge, and seal. This replacement can easily be performed in under ten minutes, without the worry of fluid disposal or hazardous spills.

Provides Continuous Protection

The Kleenoil® Filtration System is designed to filter the fluid whenever there is fluid pressure. With the engine or the hydraulic pump activated, the fluid is continuously passing through the densely wound filter cartridge.

Wound with pure coniferous long fiber wood pulp paper, the unique design of the Kleenoil® cartridge allows water to be extracted from the fluid and while allowing the larger oil molecules to pass through unchanged. The dirt and wear particles remain trapped in the filter giving you a continuous, self-contained recycling system.

Is Good for the Environment

Because the oil is recycled within the system, longer drain intervals can be used. Longer drain intervals allow you to significantly reduce the amount oil lubricants that will have to be purchased over the (now extended!) life of your equipment. Additionally, less waste oil needs to be disposed of, reducing the very real risk of spills and ground contamination, and taxing an already-stretched ecosystem with additional toxins.
